Can you buy guns with an Academy Sports credit card? ›

It is possible to buy firearms with the Academy Credit Card. Of course, you will have to fill out a 4473 form and they will do a background check on you before they sell you a firearm, just like if you pulled cash out of your pocket.

Firearms: With the exception of brands sold exclusively by Academy, all firearm sales are final, and customers must return any damaged or defective firearm to the manufacturer for warranty repair or claims.
