Our Favorite Bathroom Faucets

I Renovated 3 Bathrooms This Year, and These Bathroom Faucets Made Them Look Luxurious for Less (1)

I ran the gamut of bathroom faucets that would suit each of my uniquely-styled bathrooms, and I found myself repeatedly going back to Delta faucets in the brand's signature shade, Champagne Bronze.

I went with the classic Delta Sparrow Champagne Bronze Faucet in our primary bathroom. One thing I love: All Delta faucets have coordinating bathroom accessories, like towel rings and toilet paper holders, too, so it's easy to find matching finishes.

I am also partial to the modern design of the Delta Velum Matte Black Widespread Faucet, another style I used for a sleeker look in my additional bathroom. The uncommon coloring of the Moen Gibson Brushed Nickel Widespread Faucet is stunning as well—though it’s nickel, the color is super warm and inviting.

A tip about Delta Champagne Bronze: it’s a bit tricky to match your mirror or light fixtures to this unique shade. For my reno, I ordered several fixtures from Kichler, which makes an exact match (thanks, Kichler!)

Best Budget Bathroom Faucets

When I started shopping for new bathroom faucets, some of the prices made me do a double take. On average, a single faucet will cost between $150 and $200—but you can find fancier options priced even higher, as well as budget-friendly choices under $100.

I didn’t have room in my renovation budget to spend upwards of $400 on one faucet alone (especially since I have a double vanity). Thankfully, there are plenty of affordable faucets on offer to upgrade your space.

I went with the allen + roth Harlow Faucet for my downstairs bathroom and love the sleek, brass look. It also has coordinating bathroom accessories, which I love. I was also impressed by the quality of the nicely-priced Hurran Brushed Gold Bathroom Sink Faucet from Amazon. This faucet looks so stylish, I'd easily be convinced it's triple the price.

Best Single-Handle Bathroom Faucets

Single-handle faucets are space-saving and provide a minimalistic, sleek look that looks just right in a modern bathroom. I love the Delta Nicoli Bathroom Faucet for this exact look. All of the pieces are simple yet beautiful with curved, soft edges that balance the modernity—plus, it comes in lots of different finishes to suit your bathroom.

I’m equally obsessed with the warm brass color of Kohler’s Avail Faucet, which is the perfect accent to a white or neutral bathroom theme. It would easily match other brushed gold fixtures, from your mirror to your towel bar.

Best Widespread Bathroom Faucets

If your sink allows for a widespread bathroom faucet, you have lots of room to play with more unique designs, which inspired some of my selections here. I love a widespread faucet that feels modern, but I’m also partial to ones that look more antique to complement a vintage-inspired bathroom (the Kingston Brass American Classic Faucet is a great example of that).

The Delta Nicoli line expands to widespread faucets too, some of which even come with mixed-metal options that I love. Their Widespread Bathroom Faucet blends matte black with brass for a one-of-a-kind look I bet your neighbors will envy.

Final Verdict

The best bathroom faucet I installed was the Delta Sparrow Champagne Bronze Widespread Faucet—the color is uniquely stunning, and the quality is unmatched. I know this will last a long time in my primary bathroom, probably even after I move out. If you're looking for a beautiful faucet that’s easy on the wallet, you can’t go wrong with the well-reviewed Hurran Bathroom Sink Faucet, which even comes with the drain included for under $60.

How We Picked Bathroom Faucets

I know a thing or two about shopping for bathroom faucets after purchasing all new ones for my house. When perusing options for both my house and this list, I took into consideration the brand reputation (or if not from a well-known brand, how positive the reviews are on the website) as well as color options, style, price, and overall value.

What to Look for When Buying Bathroom Faucets

Choose the Right Mount Type

Different sinks and vanities allot for different types of bathroom faucets: either single-hole, centerset, or widespread. Check out your vanity before purchasing a faucet so you don’t mistakenly purchase the wrong one (like me).

Pick Your Favorite Finish (and a Durable Material)

When shopping for faucets, check out the material they’re made of. Solid brass or stainless steel is preferable, but often, you’ll find that the interior of some of the more affordbla faucets are made of plastic. This works fine in the short term but might lead to replacements down the road.

Think About Style and Aesthetics

Of course, your faucet should suit your style and complement the rest of your bathroom design. If your bathroom leans more modern and minimalistic, opt for a sleek finish like black or chrome in an angular style (the Delta Modern Single-Handle Monoblock Faucet in Chrome is exactly that).

If you have visions of clawfoot tubs and brass accents in your head, go with something that feels like it pays homage to an older era. I think the Kingston Brass American Classic Widespread Faucet feels classic and provides a fun detail to an otherwise updated bathroom.

Don’t Forget About the Valve

A lot of bathroom faucets don’t include the drain and valve, a bit of a bummer, if you ask me. Even if it costs a little bit more, definitely opt to purchase the coordinating drain kit with your faucet so you will be all set to install it. You don’t want to start the project just to be missing key pieces.
