Was good again to go through the building and see what we quoted turn into actual.Stay safe crew. #Alberta smoke from all the #forrestfires is here! Hope and pray safety for all the people surrounded by these 🔥. These pictures show how Smokey it is here in #centralalberta, I can only image how bad this will be near #jasper and surrounding area.

Sugarloaf Mountain Ranch The 55-acre Sugarloaf Mountain Ranch is located just outside the scenic mountain town of Beulah, which occupies a tranquil farming valley next to the San Isabel National Forest. Wooded, with numerous open meadows and existing trails, this property gets abundant game traffic, including deer, elk, turkey, and bear, and offers unmatched, easily accessible hunting opportunities. The property also offers outstanding views of Beulah Valley and the surrounding mountains, as well as several possible home sites, should a buyer choose to build. Alternatively, the property can be subdivided (per county regulations, A3-zoned lots may be as small as 1 acre). Sugarloaf Mountain (6,548’) itself is inside the property; a new owner could potentially generate cash or tax benefits by selling a conservation easement, protecting the mountain from development, while preserving development rights for the remainder of the property. The potential also exists to generate hunting income, charging hunters for access to this parcel. Utilities (San Isabel Electric, Beulahland Communications for phone/internet) are at the property line, and the parcel meets the acreage requirement for a domestic well permit, although municipal water is at the property line, and may also be available. Access is via a quiet, paved, publicly maintained road, and the services and amenities of town are just minutes away. This is an outstanding candidate as an investment property, income-generating property, or recreational property, or as a site for one or more homes.Showings are by appointment, with listing broker leading tours, and with at least 24 hours’ notice. Listed at $480,000. Marketed by AJ Mangum, Hayden Outdoors: (719) 237-0243; aj@haydenoutdoors.com.https://lnkd.in/guUVaAbJ

CONFESSION: I am a mosquito magnet! Those little buggers love me. I can be in a group of people and sometimes, I am the only one getting eaten alive. It drives me crazy!I recently ran across an article on the Spruce that highlighted scents that mosquitoes hate. I'm making a trip to Rosie's or Sundown this weekend to acquire as many of these plants that I can!If you hate mosquitoes as much as I do, you may want to consider adding one ore more the following plants to your outdoor living area:CitronellaRosemaryLemon BalmEucalptusPeppermintMarigoldsCatnipAdditionally, you can add your leftover coffee grounds to your landscape or chopped pieces of garlic to help ward off mosquitos. I hope this works!...Disclaimer: Equal Housing Opportunity. McCoy Moves You real estate team is affiliated with Centurty 21 Scheetz and a member of the National Association of Realtors. Although it seems like weeds pop up overnight, they don't. Weeds take a while to set up camp and take over your lawn. With that said, it takes us a while (1 year) to see a true difference in your lawn. Questions? Ask us here. #TheNiceGuys #TurfMastersLawnCare #TurfMasters #customerlove #companyreview #businessreview

Established in 1768 through an Act of the Commons House of Assembly, the lake and park became part of the Commons, reserved indefinitely for public use. The lake’s origin in 1869 coincided with the extension of Lynch St. (now Ashley Ave.) south to Broad St., enclosing the current lake area. Contrary to the belief that it served as a small boat harbor for planters, the lake likely functioned as a mill pond for nearby sawmills. The park surrounding the lake took shape in the 1880s, with the current layout of a lake within concrete embankments and a wide promenade completed by 1885. “Gala Week” in the fall featured fireworks on the undeveloped west side, drawing crowds to both the park and boats in the lake. Boating’s popularity led to the city requiring licenses in 1910, along with boat and “tub” races for local boys. For a period, the lake was enclosed with a wire screen, stocked with fish, and closed off from the Ashley River for recreational fishing. Park improvements were consistent, including a stone-paved promenade in 1902 and increased security with a dedicated police officer in 1904. In 1910, palmetto trees lined Ashley Ave., but vandalism issues persisted. The commissioners overseeing Colonial Lake announced in 1911 the installation of new benches and planting forty water oaks. The Charleston Parks Conservancy, established in 2007, unveiled plans to renovate Colonial Lake in 2008. Modifications were made to the plan, including narrowing Rutledge Ave. and creating a more formal landscape around the lake. The four-million-dollar project began in January 2015, with completion expected in early 2016. #charleston #movingtosouthcarolina #charlestonliving #realestate #luxurylifestyle #historicphoto #lowcountry
