How to Use:
- To turn ON, press & hold lit power button until tool vibrates & lights start to cascade up.
- To turn OFF, first unlock tool by quickly double-tapping power button. Then, press & hold power button until iron vibrates & lights start to cascade down.
- Note: Power button remains on while tool is plugged in, but tool won’t heat up until turned on.
HeatID Mode:
- Set your HeatID profile: Tap & toggle through each HeatID icon to input your HeatID profile. Icons will stop blinking upon first tap & become brighter to indicate each selection.
- Lock your HeatID profile: Double tap power button to lock your profile. The iron will begin to heat up.
- Ready to use once iron beeps & lights stop blinking.
Manual Mode:
If you prefer to manually adjust your heat settings, enter Manual Mode.
- Switching to Manual Mode: Double tap power button to unlock interface. Tap Manual Mode icon; all 9 LED’s will light up & HeatID icons will disappear.
- Adjust temperature: Tap top of temperature panel to increase heat setting or tap bottom of panel to decrease heat setting.
- Lock in heat setting: Double tap power button. The iron will begin to heat up.
- Ready to use once iron beeps & lights stop blinking.
How to Style:
- Start w/ dry, detangled hair. Twist top part of hair out of the way & secure w/ a section clip.
- Gather bottom half of hair into another clip, leaving out a 1-2” section.
- Gather 2” section & clamp iron halfway between root & ends.
- Twist iron away from face, toward roots.
- Turn barrel repeatedly until all hair is wrapped around barrel. Ensure barrel remains in a vertical position.
- Hold iron for a few seconds or until heat has fully penetrated hair section, then gradually release curl in a vertical position.
- Repeat on all sections until hair is fully styled.
- Styling Tip: For a tousled look, rake fingers or wide tooth comb through hair to loosen curls.
Precautions:
- Do not wrap power cord around tool as it may damage electrical wiring.
- Consult enclosed user guide prior to use.
- Select settings & use w/ caution. There are individual variations in how hair responds to heat. In first use, it is best to test at a low heat & for a short duration. If there are any adverse or unexpected effects, stop use of iron immediately.
