Fall Hours

Return in person to either the Leestown or Newtown Campus Bookstore during regular business hours.

Hours. Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

If you have dropped a class, you have up to 30 days to return a book in original condition for a full refund.

Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) is one of 16 two-year colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), formed in 2005 by the consolidation of Lexington Community College and Central Kentucky Technical College.

Where do bookstores keep their unsold stock when they accumulate more books each year? They don't. Unsold stock goes back to the publishers. Hardbacks are returned whole copy for credit; most paperbacks have the front covers removed.

Answer 1: No, it's the store's property. Answer 2: No, the publishers won't like it if those books come back after not being sold.

We accept returns only if items are defective from functionality issue or damage in occurred from shipping. Since items are basically used items, we don't accept returns with simple reason like "No longer wanted or needed" like brand new items sold at retail stores.
